The splendour of the Artabran Coast.

The Artabran coast, or Costa Artabra, is well- known among surfers, but doesn't appeal to the common tourist. They rather like the overcrowded beaches of Southern Spain where they can be roasted by a merciless summer sun.
The coasts of Galicia, with their Celtic grandeur and unpredictable climate attract a different kind of people; those fond of a brisk walk, and loving great landscapes.
Sometimes the beaches look nearly Caribbean, but when the sun disappears the courageous rambler has to wrap up well against rain and wind. Whatever the condition of the weather, the Artabran Coast is always beautiful.
Buy yourself a good walking stick and do not forget to pay a visit to a local pub, seafood as tapas and a good glass of beer is a heavenly reward after a long walk.
